Purpose

After five years of treatment, on December 2010, the mouth apparatus on my teeth was removed!! I enjoy showing off my Big New Smile. Think about it...What does it take, for you, to go through such a long-term dental treatment?  Your part, obviously. And, the part that is not yours.

Your part is going to the clinic, cooperating from the dental chair, scheduling appointments, following the procedures, being careful. And, most of all...waiting, waiting, waiting...
The part that ins’t yours: Letting someone else work while you see nothing, know nothing of what is being done, being not able to interfere if it were needed;  keep having no precise idea of when will it end or what it takes to get it right.

To have the preferred result, what is crucial? Going to the right professional. In this case, an orthodontist. Trusting in their knowledge and care is important. To trust.

Much money, time and concern goes into the effort to have healthy teeth. Yet when it comes to our inner core - our heart our belief - what effort to we offer? Many individuals and groups  who may be considered "specialists" easy tell us their philosophies as though they can promise how to help. We follow their ideas or fixes only to fail miserably.

In Christ we have The Specialist, the Right One, The Only Professional for this need. Because He did His part and gave His Life for us, our part is to live under His Love and Grace, knowing that this is His part, too, because we cannot do it on our own. He strengthens and guides us each and every day.

In Him we know that both parts, His and ours, and Always in His Hands.

What sweet comfort that brings.
